It's my pleasure to present this listing for a vintage Casio BM-500W Weather Station quartz digital watch. Originally released in 1991, this BM-500 is in beautiful pre-owned condition with the original sensor and display functionality fully operational. As well, the watch is presented on the original and correct Casio band. Pressure sensor on the left side of the watch and is used to measure barometric pressure, altitude, and elevation/depth. The measurement data is then displayed on the LCD display, both in numeric format on the main (silver) segment, and bar-graph format on the radial graph (blue) segment of the display.

The center (red) segment of the LCD display is used to display the current day/date/month in time keeping mode, the pressure trend tendency (the measurement trend for the last 18 hours), and additionally, the current mode or measurement being conducted on the watch. From the default time-keeping mode, using the "Mode" push button the user can navigate through the various watch modes: barometric pressure measurement mode. Altimeter measurement mode, depth measurement mode. Alarm mode, countdown timer mode, and lastly stopwatch mode. All watch modes are fully operational with no issues; backlight illumination and piezoelectric "beep" functions are also working fine with no problems. I've just installed a pair of fresh high-quality batteries and applied a light coating of silicone grease to the case gaskets the help promote water resistance and prevent them from getting dry or brittle. This watch is ready to be worn and enjoyed for years to come! Don't forget to check out my other Casio models also currently listed for sale! Diameter: 42mm without pushers, or sensor. Caliber 923 quartz module is running well and keeping accurate time; all button pushers are operating as expected. Case seals are intact and look in excellent condition; a light coating of silicone grease just applied. Crystal and case are in super nice pre-owned condition: a few light marks throughout but quite minor and presentable overall. Sensor functionality has been tested and is working fine with no issues. LCD display is operational with no leakage; all functions are working. All my watches for sale are carefully examined and cared for prior to being listed; I personally go over each and every watch I sell to ensure I can accurately describe it's condition to the best of my ability.

As a hobbyist watchmaker I also perform small repairs, cleaning, and battery changes on many of the items that need a little extra care. The item pictured is the exact item you will receive.
