Like other Vantage Pro2 models, for improved accuracy, temperature and humidity sensors are housed inside a radiation shield. This 6163 model, for the utmost accuracy, also comes with 24-hour fan-aspirated radiation shield.

The UV and solar sensors are per-installed on the sensor mounting shelf. ISS is solar powered and for 24-hour fan-aspirated radiation additional solar panel is included with ISS. Sensor suite can be installed up to 1000 feet away and still accurate weather data can be received inside the comfort of home or office on the console.

Stylish back lit console provides continual updated weather information on 3.5-inch by 6-inch LCD screen. Console displays on-screen graphing, forecasting using easy-to-read icons (sunny, cloudy, rain, snow), barometric pressure trend, inside temperature, dew point, humidity information, time and date, and much more!
